Title:Structure of light $\Xi$ hypernuclei

Abstract

Recently, at J-PARC it is planned to do search experiments for light$\Xi$ hypernuclei such as $^{11}$B+$\Xi$ and $^6$He+\Xi$ syst-em to extract information on \Xi N interaction. In this talk, I will review the present status of J-PARC hypernuclear project on $\Xi$ hypernuclei and my recent work.

About the speaker:

Dr. Hiyama obtained her Ph.D. degree from Kyushu University of Japan in 1998. From 1998 to 2000, she was a special postdoctoral researcher in Riken. From 2004 to 2008 she worked in KEK as an associate researcher and from 2004 to 2008 an associate professor in Nara Women’s University. Since 2008, she has been an associate chief scientist in RIKEN. Her main research interests are accurate few-body methods and hypernuclear physics. In 2017, She became a full professor at Kyushu University.
